A representation of the South African cuisine culture. They braai wherever, with whatever and whenever.
Braai is the Afrikaans word for barbeque – although barbecues are not for real South African men because they braai with wood fires.
The point is the social element behind standing around a fire, chatting and out suggesting the guy who does the cooking. It’s definitely a man thing (although some woman beat the men in the art), but also the result is very scrumptiously cooked meat – and to perfection! This recipe book represents some very talented winemakers in action. These are some of our favorite spreads using masculine fonts and layouts.
